No. SharpMatter uses read-only access to your TikTok Ads account. We can never create, modify, pause, or delete campaigns, ad groups, ads, or any other objects. All analysis is purely observational.
We access campaign structure and performance, ad group targeting and bidding config, ad creatives and metrics, reporting data with flexible breakdowns, and TikTok's interest/geo targeting taxonomy for research. We do not access your TikTok profile, videos, or any non-advertising data.
Through the official TikTok Marketing API OAuth flow. You click "Connect TikTok Ads" and authorize read-only access in TikTok's permissions dialog. Your access token is AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. You can revoke access at any time from the Connect page.
